Chapter 1 - so it begins

This is Mandy Page. She is very family oriented, flirty, artistic, charismatic and can be a little innapropriate some times

She has just moved to town with her sister Alexis. Alexis is a party girl who is also very flirty, childish, a bit of a daredevil and alot of fun to be around.

Alexis has managed to find her own place in town. She prefers to live on her own. However, Mandy had to settle for a place out of town and she had barely enough money left to buy the essentials. The place isn't much but it will do!

As Mandy settles in, she manages to find herself a job as a snitch for the police department. Now she can start bringing in some cash! As Mandy starts work, she wishes to become friends with her co-works and after a few friendly conversations by the watercooler, she befriends Burton. It is such a relief to finally have a friend in town!

As she gets home from work, she wishes to throw a party to celebrate her new job and new life. She decides to invite Burton, her sister Alexis and a few people she met in the park on the day she arrived in town. Now people are turning up, pizza is ordered as she wished and the party is started!

Alexis is through the door first being her usual bubbly self!

As soon as everyone arrives, Burton, Alexis and I strike up conversation. Burton seems like such a great guy, very easy to get along with and my sister is getting along with everyone which is no big surprise. She is a true social butterfly.

The party went pretty well, but Mandy has started getting down in the dumps. The rose covered glasses are off and she is now facing the reality and hardships of life. Money is tight, she can't afford to fix appliances or buy new ones and there is no pay rise or promotion in sight for her in her job. She seems to be stuck and going nowhere fast.

So to make herself feel better again, she saves up all of her money and decides to go get herself a tattoo!

Probably not the best way to spend her money since she doesn't even own a stove, but she seems pretty satisfied with the new pink starts tattooed on her shoulder.

Mandy's rebellious streak is really coming out now. As soon as she leaves the tattoo parlour she takes over a makeover station and starts dictating fashion advice to a customer. She then heads across town and decides she wants to skinny dip in the public pool. Luckily there were no kids around! It seems this new tattoo has really brought out another side in her...

From then onwards, Mandy drowns her misery and money woes in endless partying and clubbing. Most nights after work she will hit a local bar, nock back some drinks and dance her heart out.

NOTE: Beware where you dance on the dancefloor, as the party machine may shoot flames up your ass :-)

At least she has her sister in town to hang out with and Alexis is always up for a party! Alexis has always been such a great dancer and Mandy would have the best time with her on the dancefloor, but soon enough Alexis would meet others she wants to party with and Mandy is left drinking herself silly at the bar.

Mandy's mood seems to be getting worse and worse, and now she is resorting to compfort food, ice cream! That is not a happy face and the ice cream doesnt seem to be helping to lift her mood...

She decides to call her good friend Burton from work and invite him over. Maybe he can lift her spirits! He heads over streight away. The conversation is a little awkward and stale as they watch tv. She really isn't in the mood for chit chat but I think Mandy really appreciates the company right now!

Mandy gets a call from her sister inviting her to a house party at her place. Mandy heads on over and as soon as she walks in, she sees that the house is full of lovely furniture and the kitchen is fitted out with all the latest appliances. Mandy can't help but be jealous as she herself barely has enough funds to eat and pay the bills.

As she walks around the corner, Mandy greets party guests and sees her sister cooking up a feast on her stove ready for the party.

Everyone seems to be having a really good time at the party. The food is great, the house looks great and Alexis is the centre of attention and loving it.

But all of this ends up making Mandy feel worse! Alexis seems to be doing so well in this new town. Her house is great, she is making lots of friends and loving life but Mandy is feeling very much out of place.

As Mandy leaves the party, her misery and frustration builds. She storms out the door and lets all of her frustration out on the garbage big out the front which she kicks over in full force.

This is not a good start for Mandy and her new life! Her dream is to have a big family of her own and all she is right now is a raging rebellious mess. Hopefully she can improve her mood and work performance soon and start getting her life back on track!
