Chapter 9 - the 'perfect' family

It was not long after the wedding that Dixie started to develop a baby bump. Dixie and Ezikeal are about to have a baby! Both Dixie and Ezikeal are hoping for a baby boy.

Unfortunatly, Ezikeal has not yet gotten over his flirty ways. Dixie broke up with him before because of cheating rumours so lets hope he doesn't ruin his marraige by sharing his affections a little too much!

Conor never liked Ezikeal much after he cheated on Dixie the first time, and when Conor saw him flirting with a house guest, Conor was less than impressed! Conor consented the marrage between Dixie and Ezikeal because he knew how much his daughter loved him, however Conor does not trust Dixie's new husband and Ezikeal will need to prove himself to be in Conor's good books.

The big day soon came when Dixie was to give birth. It took a little while for the rest of the household to realise what was going on, and eventually Ezikeal escorted Dixie to the hospital.

Dixie soon arrived home with a new baby boy named Sheldon. Sheldon has the loner and genious traits. Dixie and Ezikeal are very excited about their new baby boy.

As Dixie places her son in the same crib she layed in as a baby, and shares a hug with her beloved husband, the portrat of her mother looks down on their new family and smiles. Dixie knows her mother would be very proud and happy for her.

Now that she is a new mum, Dixie has not been spending much time on her gardening career, and instead she spends most of her days on the computer as she is a computer wizz and caring for her new baby boy.

Conor and Ryan have also been helping out with the baby however it is a shame that the two of them continue to butt heads with eachother. Dixie is not impressed with the negative energy Ryan creates in the household.

At one of Ryan's raging parties, Ezikeal was surprised to meet his estranged daughter Kerri Patchinson. Kerri was born from the brief romantic affair he had with another woman while in a relationship with Dixie.

Dixie was more than surprised to find Ezikeal had produced a daughter out of his affair, which has thrown a spanner in the works for her vision of a picture perfect family. Despite this, Dixie is more than happy with Ezikeal's attempts to befriend and form a relationship with his daughter.

It also seems that Ezikeal's fondness of other women has eased off significantly since Sheldon's berth, as any advances made towards him by other women were strongly rejected at Ryan's party. He really does love Dixie and he is making it known.

A few days passed and it was soon Sheldon's birthday! Sheldon has aged up into a toddler. Despite all of the little ups and downs early on in the marraige, Dixie lovingly holds her growing son in her arms and shares affection with her husband every day and realises, this new family could end up being pretty perfect after all!
