Chapter 6 - What is Love?

Dixie has had no interest in rekindling the love she once had with Emil. So much so that she has been spending all her spare time talking to other men on the Internet. She became close to Dean Keaton and decided to meet him in person at his work at the consignment store. She could not believe she has scored yet again and met another sexy and handsome vampire.

They connected straight away and after a lot of talking and flirting Dixie decided to make her move and go in for a kiss! from that point on, they could not keep their eyes off each other and fell in love. She could not believe she could fall in love so hard and so fast so soon after her heartbreak with Emil.

Later that night, after everyone went to bed, something went bump in the night! A Burglar tried to enter the house but the young men of the house, Sheldon and Theodore stopped him before he even entered the front door and took him down.

After a busy week with most of the family off at work and school, everyone was looking forward to the weekend and everyone made the most of it! Sheldon recently met an elderly woman by the name of Nikki and he soon decided he wanted to get to know her better.

On the weekend he invited her over. They got into some deep conversations which got Sheldon intrigued however it was swiftly followed by an angry and argumentative outburst by Nikki followed by an attempt to give Sheldon a kiss which Sheldon resisted.

After this mood swing and rejection, Nikki decided to leave. Not long after she left, Sheldon got thinking and realised he was developing feelings for this woman despite her quick temper and he soon decided he would soon like to invite her out on a date!

After work on Friday, Emil felt as tho he had to let his hair down and get out of the house so he headed out to the nightclub to throw back a few drinks and have a dance!

On the same evening, Dixie decided to invite her new love out on a date to the local pub. A lot of affection was shared between these two budding love birds, making for a great date!

Kai also celebrated the prom that evening! He had such a good night that he even became prom king!



Kai may have gone to Prom on his own, but he came out of Prom with a new love after stealing a kiss from a special little lady by the name of Shara.

It seemed like everyone had somebody special in their lives in the Page family except for Sharaya! Sharaya has yet to find a man as she has been focusing on developing her career. Hopefully she can find someone soon as she edges closer to her next birthday!

Not all was going well in the household however, because whilst all of these relationships were forming and changing in the household, the two family cats were not getting the love and attention they needed so eventually the council had to come and take them away due to neglect!

Theodore is especially distraught after loosing the cats! He loves cats and is sad to see them leave but he knows they are better off in another home that can give them the love and attention they deserve.
