At work, she has now become good friends with her boss and her boss has been throwing some wicked parties.
It was at one of her Boss's parties that she met Derron who is featured in chapter two. There is something about Derron that she liked and when she was invited to another raving pool party, she picked Derron out of the crowd straight away.
She greeted him like she greets everyone the first time by pulling a funny face! Derron took it the wrong way however and he got very angry! He was very offended and slapped her in the face! I guess this is the downside to having the inappropriate trait!
She kept trying to go up to Derron and be friendly however he did not want to hear it and they soon became enemies. She was upset to know that Derron hated her as she seemed so keen on him!
So Mandy soon decided that she wants to have 5 friends. So after work she walks across the road to the park and starts socialising. She met lots of great guys at the park but none of them seemed to be friendship material. She lost interest quickly and none of them could hold her interest for too long.
So after her failed attempt at making new friends, her thoughts soon turn back to Burton and she decided to invite him over.
Most of the afternoon was spent watching TV and making casual chit chat. It all seemed to be very friendly until the unexpected happened...Mandy....out of no where...goes in for a kiss! Burton accepts her kiss whole heartily and Mandy soon falls in love! Now this is where the inappropriate trait is a real plus!! :-)
Now Mandy is on a real high after that wonderful night with Burton and the next evening her Boss invites her to another epic party, and she knows Burton is invited. She hopes that her random kiss does not make things awkward between them and she hopes to confirm that the feelings she has for Burton are reciprocated.
As she walks through the door, she finds Burton dancing with their Boss. She can't help but be a bit jealous...
So she decides to go and dance with another guy at the party. Burton sees this and gets very jealous himself!
It seems like a big cat and mouse game with these two! I wonder when they will actually acknowledge each other at this party, and suddenly Mandy asks Burton to dance. She seems very happy and she hopes that this is the confirmation she has been waiting for about his feelings for her.
It starts getting late and Mandy starts getting ready to leave the party and then all of a sudden she turns around and finds her sister flirting with Burton! And worst of all he did not reject her flirting!
She is very upset with her sister and her friendship bar with her sister drops straight away. However she is still madly in love with Burton. She could not believe her sister could do that to her, but she hopes that in time she can still win over Burton's heart.
oh NO!!!! - her sister is awful!!!!
