Chapter 4 - Putting back the pieces

The day after the party, Burton called Mandy for a chat and to try and explain himself. Mandy was glad that Burton cared enough to call!

After she got off the phone she decided that she wanted to be friends with her sister again, so she aranged to meet Alexis at the park. They chatted for a little while and then suddenly Alexis starts chatting up some random right infront of Mandy. Obvioulsy Alexis is more interested in flirting with men than mending their friendship.

After a long, hard week of work, Mandy decides to throw a party of her own at her place and serve a big platter of food. Even tho Mandy loves Burton, she was very hurt by what he did so she avoided him a bit at the party dispite him making eyes at her across the room.

Once all of her guests arrived at the party, Mandy soon started making conversation with Davey who she met in the park and it didn't take long for Mandy to start flirting with him. Mandy knew this would make Burton jealous, and it did!

When the party was coming to and end and guests started to leave, Burton pulled Mandy aside and complained about the dirty dishes. Mandy knew that wasn't what he was really angry about. She just shrugged it off and Burton left in a huff.

After the party, Mandy once again was in the mood to meet new people. She had also just passed through her next stage of life and because of this she was very very keen to find a man she could marry.

She headed down to the beach to socialise and she must have been feeling very desperate as she walked up to Gobias, starting flirting with him and kissed him right then and there.

Little did Mandy know that this old balding man was a bit of a player and very rich as there were other women at the beach looking at Mandy and getting very jealous!

Mandy soon fell in love with Gobias and when he invited her to a party at his place, she quickly accepted. She arrived at his beautiful big modern house on the water. She also soon realised that she was not the only girl Gobias had his eye on at the party. He was getting alot of attention from the ladies.

She also ran into her sister who she had barely spoken to since she tried to mend their friendship at the park. It seemed like she had a new boyfriend! Unfortunately they seemed to be fighting with eachother at the party.

After this party, she lost all hope in Gobias being marraige materail. She then began to regress back into her rebellious stage as she once again decided she wanted to get a tattoo. This time she got a pink flower tattooed on her back.

As she was leaving the tattoo parlour, she saw Derron out of the corner of her eye. His hair was a bit longer but she recognised him streight away. She came up to him and gave him an amerous hug.

She was very attracted to him but she must have forgotten that he actually hates her since she pulled a face at him at the party. As soon as he pulled away from the hug he started yelling at her again and stormed off.

Mandy seemed to be right back at square one again when it came to her lovelife. Her career was going great as she is now a Vice Squadrant in the special agent sector of the police force. Her painting skill was improving greatly and her house was now a home full of lovely furniture and appliances. She just desperately missed the perfect husband to go with the perfect life.

It has been a long time since Mandy had seen Burton. Since Mandy got promoted, she hardly saw him around the workplace. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue Burton started calling her again, so she invited him over.

When he turned up, he had aged alot. He had become an elder and let himself go. It didn't take long for the romance between them to return however. After a bit of sweet talk and romancing, Mandy could not resist but to ask Burton to marry her. She was happy to leave everything behind her as she knew all along Burton was her one true love. She went down on one knee and proposed and he said yes!

They had a private wedding then and there and he moved in straight away. Everything came so naturally between those two and you can tell they are meant to be together. As soon as he moved in, I gave him a quick makeover and he looked like his old self again but just a bit older!

Now Mandy has the perfect job, perfect house, perfect man and perfect life, all ready to start a family!
