Chapter 7 - Death is not the end

After Burton's death, Mandy was finding it hard to cope with his loss but life had to go on. Dominick and Tanesia were doing really well in school and were making friends. Tanesia and Dominick wanted to become friends with the Vampire at school, Vicente Keaton and Teanesia soon became best friends with him. Dominick also became good friends with Lelani Whistler at School.

As the days went on after Burton's death, things started to go bump in the night. It seems that Burton does not want to let go of his family as his spirit has begun to wonder the house at night.

Dominick woke up one night sensing his dad's presence and as he opened his eyes he found the chair next to his bed hovering. He knew it was his dad's spirit. All of the bad memories from the night his dad died come rushing back as he crawls back into bed and tries to go back to sleep.

Mandy also felt his presence in the house too. As she slept, she swore she could feel him lying there next to her in bed at night.

Early one morning Mandy awoke and came out to the lounge room, and to her surprise she found Burton's spirit exercising to the sterio. She was not happy to see his spirit there. Instead of his presence being compforting, it made her upset and brought back bad memories. She loved Burton very much but she hoped Burton would pass over to the other side and leave the family to continue on with thier lives in peace.

After this, Mandy and the kids no longer saw Burton's spirit wondering the house at night and it seemed they may finally have peace and quite in the house at night.

Mandy also soon had her birthday and she has now become an elder. The prime of her life is now behind her. She is now retired and she can fully focus on looking after her children and watch them grow up.

Not long after Mandy became and elder, Gobias showed up to her house for a visit. Since she lost Burton she was hoping to have another man in her life and he was great company for her.

It wasn't long before it was Dominicks birthday again. Mandy wished to throw a party for Dominick.

Once again she invited her sister who had also aged up into an elder. Her sister was now engaged to her boyfriend Theo but unfortunately she was now too old to have kids. Her sister Alexis lived her life to the fullest when she was young and Mandy wonders if Alexis ever regrets not having a family of her own.

Now it's time to celebrate Dominick's birthday. Dominick ages up into a very handsome teenager and gains the Schmoozer trait. He also now has the lifetime wish to join the science career track and become a creature robot cross breader!

Mandy was also getting re aquainted with Gobias who is her second love as she was inviting him around to her house more and more. She was so happy to have a man in her life again but unfortuantly as Gobias was getting out of the hot tub at Mandy's house, the grim reaper appeard and Gobias began to fade away into the spirit world.

Mandy was heart broken again. To loose both Burton and Gobias in such a short time was very upsetting to Mandy. Luckily she has a great family around to support her.
